In coordination with the St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center, St. Charles Parish Public Schools is closely monitoring the weather forecast associated with Tropical Storm Isaias.

Families and employees will be notified via email, phone, and text as well as the school system's website and social media channels if any modifications to school operations become necessary.

St. Charles Parish Public Schools became aware today, October 2, 2026, of a cybersecurity incident involving Frontline Education, a provider of K-12 school administration software used by SCPPS for recruiting, hiring, and employee absence management.

According to information provided by Frontline, the company identified a vulnerability in a third-party software product in August that allowed unauthorized access to a portion of its environment. Frontline reported that it investigated the incident with the assistance of an independent cybersecurity firm, addressed the vulnerability, contacted law enforcement, and took additional steps to strengthen the security of its systems.
